How credits work.

Credits are how LangRelay measures translation usage. One credit is roughly one word. That's it.

1 credit ≈ 1 word

When LangRelay translates a page, each word of source text costs one credit. A 500-word blog post uses about 500 credits per language.

Shared across sites

Your credit pool belongs to your whole organization. If you have three sites, they all draw from the same balance. No need to split or pre-allocate.

Only new text costs credits

Once a sentence is translated, it's cached. Re-crawls and repeat visits cost nothing. You only spend credits when text actually changes on your site.

A real example

Say you have a WooCommerce store with 1,180 pages and about 2.1 million words. Translating the whole thing into one language uses roughly 2.1M credits. That fits comfortably in the Growth plan (1.5M/mo) across two months, or you can translate it all at once on Business.

After that initial translation, month-to-month usage drops to almost zero. You only use credits again when you add products, update descriptions, or publish new content. Most sites use less than 1% of their monthly credits after the first full crawl.
